This workshop will review the nature of the differences in how each of the five District Courts of Appeal (DCA) approach mediation and how successful the use of mediation for appeals has been beyond the 5th DCA. A comparison of the Federal Appellate Mediation Model with the Florida rules will teach appellate mediators about this very different mediation method.
