This workshop focuses on retirement plans and benefit transfers which are normally seen as equitable property distributions in dissolution of marriage cases, including employer-sponsored plans, government and military plans, and IRAs. The workshop also covers common mistakes in agreement wording to have the plans appropriately transferred, the difference between different types of plans, and some information on how taxation is considered.
