This presentation will promote excellence in handling first party insurance mediations. Presenter Curtis Hutchens will review the unique challenges and ethical dilemmas that often appear in first party lawsuits and pre-suit homeowner mediation and the ever-changing Florida statutes and case law that apply to first party and hurricane mediations. There will be a group case study discussion regarding flood, wind, and surplus lines policies. Those attending the workshop will be well prepared to mediate the pending onslaught of Hurricane Irma claims.
